"Pretend to live in the country...."

Beyond Castle Hill and Glenhaven, on the northern outskirts of The Hill’s District lies the semi rural area of Kenthurst. Although it’s more ‘rural’ than ‘semi’

Despite having almost the charm of a small country village, it’s not a totally isolated area, due to Castle Hill being fairly close, and also the proximity of Dural. However, public transport is not good, and private vehicle/s, a necessity.

Kenthurst Rd itself is something of a country through route – but is far less traversed than its neighbouring Old Northern Road. The houses along the road in the very centre of Kenthurst are of an older style and are on smaller blocks than most of the local real estate. Therefore the properties here also sell for a lot less. However, the majority of the blocks on Kenthurst Rd, and indeed the surrounding areas, average approximately five acres. Naturally this is also reflected in the price tags, though it is still possible to purchase unrenovated homes, for really very reasonable prices considering the acreage.

Kenthurst Road offers a public primary school, a rotary park with decent playground, and a shopping village consisting of newsagent, butcher, chemist, liquor store and grocery shop. There is also an early learning centre, and nearby Marian College and The Hills Grammar school.

"A great area for young and old. Live in a quiet location yet still close to the CBD and surrounding upmarket suburbs."
