"Not for families"

Lots of hoons drive down this road! They fly down the street and it can be very dangerous. There are several schools in the local area, IKEA and the highway is a short distance away.

"Kingston Road"

Kingston Road runs from where it intersects with Logan Road at Underwood right through the suburbs of Woodridge, Slacks Creek, Kingston and finally converting to Albert Street at the intersection of Loganlea Road at Waterford. It is a busy road with 2 lanes for traffic in each direction and it does become congested at school drop off time in the morning and peak home time in the afternoon, but other than when there is an occassional bingle, normally flows ok. The road is edged by intermittent mixes of Commercial and Residential properties.

It is an alternative route to the Gold Coast from the M1 although there are a number of traffic lights at intersections and speed limit varies from 60 to 70kmh. Some of the bigger "attractions" lining this road, which most people would not know existed (from North at Underwood to South at Waterford West) are:

Hotel HQ Restaurant and Function Rooms - west side
Bunnings at Underwood - west side
Ferguson St Commercial precinct - east side
Paramatta Road Commercial precinct - east side
Shopping precinct - WOW and AMART sports - west side
Proposed Greyhound track cnr Compton Road - east side
Moss Street Commercial precinct - east side
Randall Street Commercial precinct - east side
Woodridge Fire Station (currently being upgraded May 2010) - west side
Smith Road to Harris Fields State School - west side
Argonaut shopping Centre - east side
