"Handy to everything."

Koo wee rup is not far from shopping, beaches, freeways but just far enough from town to avoid the trouble makers.

"Great place to raise your kids"

Koo Wee Rup used to be one of those sleepy towns on the way to philip island but now since the pakenham bypass has come through the traffic can be un bearable on weekends especially long weekends. The trucks are terrible during the week but on the up side there is a proposed bypass going to go through in the future (not quick enough in the locals eyes) Housing is incresing in prices significantly, hardly any rental properties come up when they do their gone.
lots of estates going up around the town. But if you want the rural feel and buy a little farmlet or a 1 acre lot you will never get one and its always been hard to get land. We live on 15 acres and would love one acre or 5acres but i cant get one.
We are getting a safeway and other shops which will be great as most of our shopping is done in pakenham.Great butchers very friendly, theres fish and chips,pizza,noodle,hardware,2 milkbars.charcole chicken, petrol station, tyre services, vets, iga, pets store, gift store, antique, bakery, clothes store $2.00 shop.real estate, optmetrest, police, few more.
Schools are great, still a friendly town would recommend living here, could do with some bigger houses and blocks and different builders to come into the town.
