"Small Town with Lots to Offer"

Latrobe is great. Often busy it still has a small community 'vibe'. The streetscape has retained it's historic charm and a Sunday wouldn't be complete in Latrobe without a trip to the local market, a browse in Reliquaire (if you haven't been here you must), morning tea at a cafe or at Anvers Chocolate Factory. There is no parking fees in Latrobe and the Hill St Grocer and Ritchie's IGA will have your weekly grocery shop sorted. Latrobe boasts a butcher, bakeries, boutiques, a bank (imagine that - a small town bank) and other banking services, a medical practice and is of course home to the Mersey Community Hospital. There is Primary School options and a High School catering for up to year 12 which has had recent upgrades.
If you're keen for sport then Latrobe has that sorted - plus the Latrobe Federal Band is the longest running brass band in the country.
The river is picturesque and whilst it did flood a few years ago the council has committed to flood mitigation to minimise the risk in the future.
With a mix of old and new, the housing options are plenty and the demographic is a good mix.

"Quiet Living"

Spend some time in the historic village of Latrobe. Latrobe is renowned for fine dining experiences, numerous quality antique shops, quaint cafes, majestic old buildings, the Courthouse Museum, the unique Axeman's Hall of Fame, fabulous Bells Parade, tempting Anvers Chocolates, the Teddy Sheean Memorial, superb walking tracks and the pristine Warrawee Reserve hiding the elusive platypus.
Latrobe has so much to offer people from all walks of life. Perfect for retirees with quality medical facilities or for family living with good sporting and recreational facilities.
