"Lavington - Something for everyone"
A good safe place to live, close to good shops,no need to travel further, excellent parking, excellent transport or easy walk to everything, close to doctors etc, Lavington has everything within 5 minutes drive or 1/2 hour flat walk. Close too to many Coffee Shops.
Good choice of Schools, Primary and secondary, private and public, within 15 min drive to Universities (Albury & Thurgoona)
Recreational - within close proximity to the Snowfields in winter or 1/2 hour drive to large Hume Weir,Picnicing, swimming, boating, fishing, or 15 minutes to the mighty Murray River, water sports, picnics, bike & walking tracks throughout.
Many Historic towns to explore within an hours drive. Wineries as well.

Not really a good place, ive been here 2 days and noticed so many drug addicts walking around the streets and also had some random junkie throw food at me for no reason while me and my fiance were waiting for a taxi lol , also been told its nickname is stabbington and lavganistan from cabbies and herd some really frazzy stories and they new the dude who threw food at me as a psychopath, as we drove 5 minute down the road there he was again i pointed him out and he was literaly in a car trying to steal it or from it. its much nicer is actual albury and closer to the city much friendly people and a better vibe lavinton I would not recommend staying or buy here please be carefull if you do
