Logan Reserve, QLD 4133

I rented a premises on Montana Circuit, Logan Reserve for 12 months. I was fearful of crime, in particular theft and installed a spotlight security camera, however, the camera did not deter persons from trespassing and attempting to break into the backyard and my car. I was endlessly contacting 000 to report crime including domestic violence, assaults and deliberate property damage. I was often disturbed by multiple dogs barking 24/7, local residents yelling and screaming, loud music throughout the day and night, fireworks during the night and in the early hours of the morning, hooning throughout the day, the night and the early hours of the morning... not to mention contiunally cleaning up rubbish that did not belong to me that would end up on the front lawn or the faeces from the cats allowed to roam the streets also ending up on the front lawn.

All amenities are available and great place to live.

I’ve lived here for two and a half years and I can tell you there is not one week where I have gotten a good nights sleep. I’m sure it isn’t every area but in this neighbourhood these is the constant dog barking all day and all night. I don’t know how people live with it. Oh and if it isn’t the dog barking and someone blaring this music til 4am in the morning, I wish I was exaggerating. I’ve had to invest in ear plugs and a desk fan just to block the sound and get some sleep. Also the first night we moved in my partner got his belongings stole new out of his ute. The people who say it’s quiet must live in a good area of Logan reserve. I wouldn’t recommend living here.

I've moved her at the beginning of the year with my wife and baby. I really enjoy taking my son to the park on the weekends, it is very peaceful.

I've lived here for two years now and hated every minute of it. The houses are built so close together you can touch your neighbors home, you can hear everything that goes on in the next houses and the neighbours can hear what you do. The area is mostly young families, and the location is great for kids -not so much if you enjoy peace and quiet. Noise seems to travel well around here and most of the homes are built cheap with paper thin walls. There is the constant sound of kids screaming, everyone seems to have a dog that barks day and night, airconditioning units built next to neighbouring windows.

From one end of my home i hear my neighbours scream and swear at their kids non stop, the other I can hear a man who talks to his dog all day. From my bedrokm i can hear the man next door snore all night. I havent slept well in 2 years, there is no down time, no quiet time, I find it very stressful here.

There are speed traps and islands built everywhere making it a pain to drive and limits street parking. I quite often have to park 3 blocks from home as the front of my house has no parking.

The greenspaces are nice and the council puts a lot of effort into keeping the place looking well. There is an outdoor gym, walking tracks and parks. I feel 100% safe walking around at night and the kids play freely in the streets. its the housing density that lets it down. Homes advertised as "family home" are more like unit complex or apartment.

There is no public transport, internet is provided by few companies and very expensive, limited mobile reception.
I am with optus and I can't use my phone in my house or certain streets in Logan Reserve. They are developing land in surrounding suburbs so there is always roadworks and gravel/dirt roads, has damaged my car and slows commute to work.

There are plans being approved to build shops, a retirement village, a nursing home and more high density housing in 2018 onwards. So the nice roads that are free of traffic lights and intersections wont stay that way for long, and the population will only increase.

This place is great if you have kids, immune to noise and are a very heavy sleeper. Also a flood prone area with only 2 roads in and out.

Logan Reserve is incredible. Been here 4 weeks now, still smiling! This suburb is Quiet, Clean, neighbours are great, they wave and say g'day but keep to themselves. Phone reception is horrible, and many internet providers dont service 4133 (logan reserve). if internet is important to u, the only provider for 4133 is "club telco". took me 4 weeks to get connected to internet. Logan Reserve has islands throughout the streets, they are a pain in the arse but they keep you driving at 30km which keeps the noise down for all residents. The houses are beautiful and quite new, backyards are perfect size for kids to run around. there are two brand new parks with swings, a football post, basketball court and an off lease dog park. If you have young kids this is the perfect place for you.. There are no teens here no graffiti. The local shops are on chambers flat rd marsden, full of graffiti and teens, but away from logan reserve. GREAT SUBURB :) I am happy here.
