Longson Street, Hamilton Hill, WA 6163

I lived in Longson St hamilton hill 6163 for over 10 years and moved out for a bigger house. Since then I have really regretted the move and because although the suburb is nice enough it is not the same as the peaceful neighbouly feel in longson streetand closeness to my favourite place = fremantle but without the freo prices. I used to love sitting on the verandah having a coffee and reading the paper with the lovely ocean glimpses and the kids safely playing across the road in the leafy green park. These properties don't come up for sale as the people who live in that street tend to stay and never want to sell. I agree with one of the other reviews, there are a few different parts of hamilton hill and I agree that longson street is the best street in hamilton hill hands down!

Longson street is definitely the best street in Hamilton Hill. There is a gorgeous green leafy park that is meticulously maintained and has a basketball quarter court as well as a kid's sandpit and playground climbing gym and swings & slides and because it's on a hill with a winding path through it it is perfect for skateboarding through. The park is the best kept secret in Hamilton Hill - it's so peaceful, clean and spacious with heaps of shade and birds and so big! Longson Street is situated on the 'Hill" part of Hamilton Hill so there are views to the ocean and garden island from the houses at the top of the street. Most of the residents are older, having lived in that street for the last 50 years, and all know each other so it has a nice neighbourly feel to it. A really nice street to live in.

Nice quiet street. Great park at eastern end, excellent for kids. Western end has large oval. Bus stop 100m away, with 15 minute bus ride into Fremantle. Under 10 minutes to Fremantle by car.
5 minutes from South Beach. Shops within walking distance from our street.Primary school 2 minutes walk.
66,000 V power lines run down the road, bit of an eyesore but research shows they pose no health risks.
Top neighbours. I want to live here for many moons.
