"Peaceful, close to nature - yet close to everything!"

Magill provides the best of both worlds - a feeling of being close to nature and the hills while being so close to the hustle of Norwood Parade and the city.

Penfold Park has recently been upgraded and is always kept meticulously clean - providing a great space for fun with the family, or an enjoyable walk with your dog.

It's unique to have Penfolds vineyards so close by, providing a country/nature feel.

My family loves that you can hear the birds singing and we tend to get lots of Kookaburras, which is uncommon when living so close to the city.

In general, Magill is going through some regeneration with newer homes being built, streets being improved and even Magill Primary School undergoing a further development.

Lots of buses are available in the area - so a great option if you don't drive or want to leave the car at home.

Via car - Norwood is 5-mins away, Burnside Villiage 10-mins and the Adelaide CBD is only 15-mins.

Overall, a safe suburb and very family-friendly!

"the secret is out"

With the Adelaide hills as a back drop and 8 km from the city centre, Magill house prices has increased. Add also two of the states best public school (Norwood/morialta high and Magill primary) and the demand for family homes is high. There are a large number of parks, ovals and play grounds to choose from as well as Shopping/ Transport close by. Magill university is also highly sort after as well. With Suburbs Such as Kensington Gardens, Tranmere, Auldana, Woodforde all adjoining Magill you can see why this is a great suburb to invest into. A truly safe and friendly suburb with a mixed cultural feel. "I grew up in Magill and now own my own home in Magill. I am also sending my two children to the local schools..i work in real estate industry and homes in Magill do not stay on the market long.

"A reasonable area with a good mix of houses"

Magill is a popular suburb and with good reason. It’s an easy trip into the city down Magill road and is well serviced by public transport. There is a University campus, good schools\and plenty of shops.
It’s a well established area with a number of very nice streets that are lined by gums. However, with the good comes the bad. There are some really ugly streets in Magill as well with some unattractive houses and poorly maintained yards. Its an area to choose your street wisely.
There are a few good places to eat around the place and there is a winery close by. There are also a few good pubs around the place.
An area more for families than young couples it is a great place to raise a family.

"A great spot for comfortable living close to the city"

Located just a 10-20 minute drive from Adelaide, this large suburb is nestled in the foothills to the east of Adelaide.

With many comfortably family homes, modern townhouses and duplex style cottages, Magill offers a range of living styles to suit families, retirees, professional couples and uni students. Purchasing in this can be quite high, but there are still some bargains and renovator’s delights to be found. It is also a good spot in Adelaide for finding reasonably priced rental properties.

This is an excellent spot for uni students, with the Magill campus of Uni SA situated nearby.

Magill has a number of shops and restaurants. There is a large Italian population in this region, so you will find a number of stores selling fresh pasta and good coffee. The Avenues complex is handy for those in the western end of Magill, and there is a Foodland on Magill Road for those on the eastern end.

Located just next door to Norwood, you will be a reasonable walking distance or short drive (depending on what part of Magill!) from the Norwood Parade and its cafés, shops, supermarkets and cinema complex. There is also the Maid and Magpie at the start of Magill Road – a great pub that has undergone an excellent renovation and serves really good pub meals.

With frequent bus lines along both Magill and Payneham Roads, accessing the city is quick and easy.
