Reviews of Mangariva Avenue, Lethbridge Park
"Close to the hub of Sydney's Multi National Companies, employment employment........."
A nice family area, mins to primary school & local indoor heated & outdoor pools.
Adjacent to the pools is Emerton Shopping Village containing Woolworths & Go-Lo & a variety of other stores including leading fast food outlets.
Bus @ the end of the street to Mount Druitt Train Station/Westfields/Hoyts Cinemas/Shopsmart/Courthouse/Hospital & Tafe.
The heart of Sydney's Distribution & Warehousing located nearby Minchinbury/Eastern Creek/Walgrove Rd/Erskine Park with national identities such as Woolworths, Aldi, Kmart, Star Track Express & Corperate Express employing thousands around the clock & paying top dollar. Walgrove Rd & Erskine park are relatively new & attracting more & more big firms from congested inner sydney to relocate due to easy access to major motorways & links. I personally rode a bicycle to work in Minchinbury for over 5yrs, 8kms from Lethbridge Park easy.
Lethbridge Park is shedding its Housing Department past & has evolved into a dynamic working class suburb, with room for all to prosper.
Great for
- Housing Department/Commission Selling off most of its properties
- Close to public transport, sporting fields and gyms
- Close to schools ,preschools
- Close to shops, fast food restaurants
Not great for
- Re:Pro, the Housing Commission properties are auctioned undervalue, bringing the median house price for the area down.

"Great street in a great community"
This street is very close to bus stops and shops,
Tregear shops at one end,
Emerton shops at the other.
Emerton shops also have a 24/7 gym opening very soon near the service station and shops just up from the leisure centre which houses a number of indoor sports as well as an indoor pool that is a stone throw from local sporting fields and school.
At the tregear end there is a small community shopping centre just near the local school.
Also the local catholic church,pre-school,and school along with 1 of a couple of child care centres can be found within 5 minutes walk from either end of Mangariva Avenue.
Otherwise you can just jump on the bus for a five minute trip to either Mount Druitt westfield or train station or to Plumpton market place,
or for a great dining experience you could go further up to the famous alroy tavern,
famous for both it's food and drink as well as it's rich history.
