"Where the country meets the city!"

After 9 years living in Maudsland and being the local Real Estate Agent for the area, this suburb is a unique blend were country folk meets with city people. It offers private acreage as well as smaller suburban blocks. Its close to shops and the highway to commute to Brisbane is only a 12 minute drive. There are prestige larger houses or more modest family homes to offer. It offers private living with a great community spirit and a handful of well used Facebook groups that really contribute to the community.

"Simply the Best ...!!!!"

Beautiful trees, parks, very green, quiet & safe, especially Park Lake Estate.
Maloney Crescent best real estate (or Maudsland Road large acreage blocks) at top of hill acre blocks or larger with views - always a cool breeze lovely neighbours, very safe, no crime - lots of police officers choose to live in this estate.
I think it is the only residential estate on the Gold Coast to have a council pool in the Estate and 24hr Gym - large oval with council BBQ's next to this with river running at the back of oval & outdoor exercise equipment in park - plenty of parking available
I have lived in Biggera Water and Paradise Point and whilst they are lovely seaside suburbs I found them noisy with lots of traffic & hustle and bustle - with added noise from Jetskis & boats - living on Paradise Pt. Esplanade .
Maudsland (Park Lake Estate) there is only approx 370 homes in this estate and the air is so fresh and clean, seems bit cooler than some coastal suburbs, similar weather to Tamborine Mt which is approx 15min drive from Maudsland with lovely hinterland cafes, rainforest walks etc.
Maudsland is the best kept secret of the northern end of the Goldie. Helensvale Train Station, M1, (short drive 10-15mins to Southport,Nerang,Broadbeach) & will have fantastic access to Light Rail, great medical services, shops, everything you could possibly need is a 10min maximum drive to Helensvale from Maudsland and you have the benefit of a lovely very quite neighbourhood with a great country feel and nice people - lots beautiful birds and wildlife.
Harbour Town shopping Centre 15min drive and the beach Harley Park Labrador 20mins max

Great for

  • Parks, trees, river but still close to CBD
  • Council pool - 24hr gym - bbq's cricket oval
  • Quiet, relaxing, safe lifestyle

Not great for

  • 15-20 minutes drive beach

"Seeking the country life?"

Maudsland is great suburbs for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle or Brisbane CBD or the Glitz and Glam of the Gold Coast. Maudsland is quiet leafy suburb where you can find large acreage blocks. Appeals to a select group mainly families with kids and couples.

"A Family Place & Closer than you think"

Park Lake Estate is known as Australia's largest residential playground with six individual play areas including swings, slides, flying fox, Park Lake castle, basketball 1/2 court, outdoor gym equipment and the soon to be re-opened in-ground pool.

38% of the estate is non-developable estate forest and not forgetting that brand new school that is within walking distance to this wonderful family home.

Maudsland is centrally located 40 minutes to Brisbane and 30 minutes to Coolangatta airport. In less than 20 minutes, you can be enjoying the boating, fishing, surfing and swimming fun on the beautiful Gold Coast beaches. The stunning vistas and wine trails of the Hinterland are just a short drive away.

Located a short 5 minute drive from the M1 on the dynamic rapidly growing northern corridor of the Gold Coast, Maudsland has been developed with the lifestyle needs of all the family in mind.

With more than 40% of the area dedicated as bushland, the area features tranquil natural streams, parklands, lake, bike and walking trails, and sporting facilities. In close proximity are a number of private and state schools including the modern new Park Lakes Primary School, High Schools, Childcare facilities, Westfield Helensvale, local shopping precincts and Helensvale railway station as well as all the internationally renowned Theme Parks.

If an opportunity arises for you to purchase in the safe and friendly estate of picturesque Park Lake I personally recommend you seriously consider this.

Park Lake is a naturally beautiful oasis, sheltered by tall pines and native bushland, centered around one of Australia's largest residential playgrounds.

Comprising nearly 40% forest, which is there to stay, with natural streams and a lake.
It is a peaceful area with nearby parks, bikeways, skateboard park, terrific local facilities including shops, medical centre, tavern, excellent primary including the new Park Lake school and High schools, useful bus services, a short drive to Westfield shopping centre and Helensvale train station, easy access to the M1 Pacific motorway for Brisbane to the North (50 Minutes) and Coolangatta /Gold Coast airport, south, just 40 Minutes. Surfers Paradise/Northern beaches 15-20 minutes away. The stunning scenery, wine trails and mountain resorts of the hinterland are again just a short drive.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of a tranquil elevated forest of pine and eucalyptus trees
Set amongst the gum trees with a beautiful lake-style outlook is this home which has been designed for Queensland living.

If you would like to know more about the many benefits of investing your future in Park Lake, please don't hesitate to contact me anytime.

Hi Chris,
We are looking at relocating once my daughter finishes high school but looking to buy and rent out until then.
Would you recommend this area for family with teenagers? My kids will not k ow anyone so wanting to live somewhere where there are teenagers etc.
We would move earlier but the school system is different for ages up there and my daughter doesn't want to repeat.
Any other suburb recommendations?
