"Great country town"

Pleasure driving through Meadows and stopping by one of their local cafes. Pik A Pie is a must visit. Friendly community and people will always happily stop for a chat.

Great country town only 45 mins from Adelaide"
Up in the Adelaide Hills is this lovely little town.
There are some good shops and a nice pub to get a good meal. It’s a reasonable commute to city.
For me its an area for a tree change. There are some character older buildings making it a lovely quaint little town. It has a great vibe. A great place for the tree-changers that don’t want to be too far away.

"Meadows - Fantastic Adelaide Hills Town - a well kept secret"

Meadows is close to everything but when you wake up in the morning you feel your really in the countryside hearing nothing but the cows. Everyone is friendly and there is a great school, bakery, pub, post office and general store so everything you need but only a short drive to Hahndorf, Echunga, Mount Barker, Stirling and Strathalbyn. We love living here.

"Meadows - a lovely little Adelaide Hills town, great place to visit or live."

Meadows is a small Adelaide Hills town offering a peaceful country lifestyle but so central to other tourist sites/attactions and retail conveniences. Less than 45 minutes drive to City, 30 minutes to Southern Vales, beaches, 40 minutes to Victor Harbour and only 15 minutes to retail therapy.
We have lived in Meadows for over 10 years and find the neighbours very friendly but not intrusive.
We've enjoyed & appreciated the local facilites such as Post Office, Butcher, well patronised Bakery, Mini Mart, Hotel, Service Stations and the local primary school and kindergarten. Countryside is magnificent, majestic trees, beautiful dams, wildlife and lush green pastures.

Great for

  • Local Post Office, Mini Mart, Service Stations
  • Lush green pastures, beautiful sunsets, dams
  • Ideal country living being so central to wineries, beaches and retail therapy
  • Good fresh fodder
  • Nice green trees grass
  • Pub
