Reviews of Milperra, NSW

"South west’s Best kept secret"

Lived here for almost 25 years now and can honestly say it’s been just great. Excellent central location, very friendly neighbors, only 5 min to East Hills railway station, just moments from M5 on and off ramps which makes trips to the airport and city convenient. Great local shops and only a short drive to larger Coles/Woolworths supermarkets.

"A great little suburb"

Quite a family friendly location with easy access to city & eastern suburbs (outside of peak hours)or southern suburbs & Illawarra / Jervis Bay. Lots of parkland & borders the George’s River with easy walking or cycling tracks.

"Lovely quiet suburb"

Moved here from Coogee and cannot say a bad thing about the place. We knew it would be quiet and that’s good. People are nice and streets are clean. Plenty of parks, one of the highest rate of parkland per population in fact.

Plenty of sports facilities close by, close to train station at East Hills and M5.

Yes there is congestion but find me a suburb that doesn’t.

"Terrible place to live"

Isolated place to live and surrounded by terrible suburbs. Bankstown Liverpool Georges hall say no more. The houses are very low lying and surrounded by a Henry Lawson drive which is busy

Sounds like you picked a poor choice of a home and should move. Im here recently from living in Coogee for 8 years and its a beautiful small suburb.

Ive lived all over Sydney, but when it came to buy and raise a family we bought in Milperra and 25 years on were still happy here - 2 hours to Gerringong, 30 minutes to Bondi or Cronulla on the weekend.

"A family and village atmosphere"

5 min drive to major shopping centres - close enough, yet far enough to be a quiet area. Close to restaurants in Revesby, Liverpool, Padstow, Panania - without the hustle and bustle. Infant and primary school, child care centres, after school care also. High schools in next suburbs with school bus transport. local shops, supermarket, convenience store, news agaent, butcher, cafe, bakeries, pharmacy, hairdressers, dentists, doctors, TAB, Pizzeria, restaurants, takeaway food and BP fuel station. Uni of Western Sydney located in Milperra. Great family pub/hotel - The Mill. 2 golf courses (one is a Group 1 course) within walking distance and another 3 within a 5-10 min drive. Also, Milperra is close to M%, Henry Lawson Drive, Canterbury/Liverpool Roads
