Minden Village is one of the best places I have lived in. The people are all very friendly. Easy commute to Toowoomba or Ipswich. School buses to your door. Love sitting outside looking at the country side, watching the cows etc. If you come here you wont want to leave.Hope to see you soon.

Minden is away from hustle and bustle but close to everything you need and close to Ipswich. Living here is affordable and the Minden primary school is lovely. Having read a couple of the other reviews, I could only think that these would be from discruntled people. I myself am an educated professional in my 30's and of the people I have met here I have not met any uneducated people nor have I come across any theft, leaving my doors open often during the day or night. Let's just say that if you are the kind of person who is not overly consumed by shopping daily or sending your teens to skateboard parks you could live in Minden very affordably and happily. If you love to breath fresh air and watch the eagles and kangaroos in your back yard while having all your mod cons inside, than you would love it here. Ipswich is not far and is great for shopping/dining etc. and the Supa IGA is a short drive as well as Woolworths. Kind of glad the other negative people have left to be honest :)

Wonderful and peaceful! We have lived in Minden for over 6 years, and still love it. It is nice and peaceful with friendly people, but everything is still within easy access (10mins to supermarket etc). We live in Minden itself (not the estate), and I believe it has a much nicer feel to it, than the planned Minden Village estate. For peace and quiet, with easy access to Brisbane or Toowoomba - Minden is the place to live!

Low cost housing has encouraged many uneducated and low income individuals to move out here. It is definately not as safe as it used to be, with some serious crimes occurring. There is absolutely no entertainment for teenagers so altough the kids are happy enough in primary school you can expect to be travelling around alot as they get older as the only place for entertainment is in ipswich which is not a comforting thought either. No medical facilities are in minden and those in neighbouring suburbs have intolerable long waiting periods. If or when you decide to sell your house expect it to be on the market forever as there are so many houses for sale out here and I wouldnt expect to make a profit either as house prices are pretty ordinary.

we have land in Minden and it is such a wonderful escape. We cannot wait to build our home here .
We have lived in near Brisbane, Browns plains, Ipswich, and even up as far as Bundy and I tell you now - Minden is by far the nicest place we have ever purchased ...and also cost effective too .
