Miranda is a great central suburb within the Sutherland Shire, with easy access to just about everything the shire has to offer.
You have Westfield Miranda which covers all your shopping needs, all forms of transport available, great restaurants and cafes as well as being located a short drive from Cronulla beaches, various Marinas and the National Parks.

Miranda is a great suburb for small or large families, professionals and investors with a variety of homes available.

Something to be concerned about developers: Sutherland and Miranda are very distinct places geographically. Nearly 5 km apart and indubitably so, and no, I'm not implying there's any issue with that being so. Ah, wait... where was the nearest hospital? In Sutherland. Please alter the name to Sutherland Shire Hospital or something somewhat more suitable.
Miranda has an enormous shopping complex featuring an abundance of restaurants, an abundance shops for fashion, culture and groceries, an abundance of playgrounds to keep children entertained, but perhaps insufficient parking. I'm glad to discern that's eased, for what reason is not directly apparent to me. There's a park, a park and another, with a very peaceful atmosphere, but note that the parks are not the lush greenery of the North Shore. The waterside views are in close proximity, and you can easily access Cronulla, or if that's not for your liking, there are countless waterside suburbs that may appeal.

Miranda is a fantastic area for families with many parks and schools within walking distance of many homes.
It is the best suburb for shopping in the Sutherland Shire with the world famous Westfields Miranda positioned in the middle of Miranda.
With much of the centre of Miranda built up with apartments, it is a great place for investors and young couples wanting low maintenace living and in some cases getting a great north facing city view.
All properties are walking distance to the station and the rental returns are extremely high with vacancy rates at record lows.
With a 5 minute drive to Cronulla its a quick trip to the beach on a hot summer day.
Make sure you take a look at Miranda as it has been mentioned recently by Today Tonight as one of 5 hot suburbs to buy in for capital growth.

Great Area, Central Location, close to schools, doctors, retail, public transport, beaches, great people.

Miranda is a suburb in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire. It has a really huge Westfield shopping mall, which is really great for shopping for fashion and eating out. The mall itself is really well maintained and I just prefer it to other Westfield in Sydney as it looks like it actually has enough space to fit all the shops in it. It is on a huge block of land and everything is not miles apart! The service is good here because everybody is really nice in the Shire area. You will always get a nice smile when you order a juice or ice cream from the ice cream stalls.
