Most of the houses in Mt Lawley are heritage listed on the municipal inventories. The City of Stirling has listed most of the suburb on its local register as being of particular heritage value because the suburb is a largely intact example of post federation architecture. Parts of Mt Lawley within the boundaries of Vincent and Bayswater do not enjoy heritage protection save for a few selected houses. A few special Mt Lawley houses are listed at the State heritage level for example , Windsor Hall, 36 Queens Crescent which was built in 1903.
