Mount Melville, WA 6330

Located about 5 ½ hrs drive south south east of Perth Mount Melville is very near Albany and many of the amentias enjoyed in this area are in fact in Albany. Facing the Great Southern Ocean the house prices in this area are fairly reasonable with properties averaging in the low $300k. Mount Melville has a state primary and state secondary school as well as daycare centres. Traveling to Albany will give you a choice including catholic and private educational facilities. The town has very good medical centres and is serviced by the Albany District Hospital. There is good shopping both locally for basics and in Albany for larger more specialised items or for a wider variety. Naturally the local hotel is there for a cold beer, counter meal and entertainment. There are playing fields for most outdoor sports with many clubs and associations for you to join. The area provides some good fishing and water sport opportunities. People are very friendly here and it is a family orientated town with a great community spirit.
