Homely secures auctioneer superstar Damien Cooley as a brand ambassador
SYDNEY, NSW – July 24, 2020
Homely.com.au, the real estate portal helping millions of Australians find the perfect home, has named auctioneer superstar Damien Cooley as their new brand ambassador.
Off the back of announcing a massive partnership with 400 top real estate agents from across the country, Homely has today shared that Damien Cooley, two-time REINSW Award for Excellence in Auctioneering recipient, has become their first official brand ambassador.
Damien has been brought on as an ambassador to further build Homely’s brand exposure in the Sydney real estate marketplace.
Jason Spencer, Homely’s Co-Founder, said, “as such a well-recognised and respected identity in the real estate industry, Damien is the perfect choice for Homely’s first brand ambassador. We’re proud to align our brand with Damien’s renowned auctioneering skills and business acumen, and his highly regarded auction business, auction house and training events.”
“Through Damien’s many business ventures we’re confident this partnership will extend Homely’s brand reach considerably to the thousands of agents and consumers he works with year in, year out”, Jason said.
Damien Cooley, Managing Director of Cooley Auctions and Auctioneer, said, “I’m beyond excited to partner with Homely as their first brand ambassador. The platform is a total game-changer. Providing agents and consumers with a low-cost advertising alternative is just what the industry needs right now and in the future”.
“Homely has proven there is a massive demand for competition and disruption in the Australian property portal space, with hundreds of top real estate principals already onboard their agent participation model. I’m so thrilled to help promote their exceptional offering to all my clients, colleagues and agent contacts, through Cooley Auctions and the Auction Now platform,” Damien said.
Damien is the most booked auctioneer on The Block TV series (making his twelfth appearance in 2019), and his multiple industry awards confirm he truly is one of the best in the business.
Ewan Morton, Managing Director of Morton, said, “bringing on Damien Cooley as a brand ambassador will undoubtedly elevate the Homely brand, particularly in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, by getting Homely in front of some of Sydney’s most influential agents every week at Cooley Auctions”.
Mark Kentwell, Co-Founder and Director of PRD Newcastle who was recently crowned Australian Metropolitan Principal of the Year, had similar sentiments.
“Securing such a successful and highly respected figure like Damien as an ambassador goes to show just how serious Homely is about building a brand and upping their brand exposure. Homely is the low-cost property portal that the industry has been calling for, with enough consumer benefits to see Homely succeed as the ‘third player’ in the space”, Mark said.
