Penfield, SA 5121

Built our house at eyre Penfield 6 months ago. Since moving in it's been great place to live. The area is still developing so will have to wait and see how we go with noise / neighbours etc . Most home owners are nice, friendly and will chat to you. From what I know it's a lot of first home buyers, retiring couples looking to downsize, middle age families are defence staff who work on nearby RAAF . Houses aren't on huge blocks but there is a mixed bag of allotments available . Roads aren't has big as I'd like but the developer AV jennings build a lot of parks around the houses to provide open space, so it doesn't feel cramped. Might get the odd young teenager come through and see what's available at houses under construction , but being a tradesmen this is evident in any developing area with new housing . The local Elizabeth shopping centre can have its fair share of bogans on late night shopping but in the mornings it's all older people and mum/dads shopping. It's only another 10-15 minutes to the village or TTP anyway. The outlook is positive with Playford council building 3 large sporting complexes and the developer maintaining landscapes for 10 years. In MY opinion doesn't have the cheap and nasty feel like Munno para west and parts of blakesview. But time will tell in the future. We got in early and the figures show there should be a reasonable about of value growth as the development builds.
