The location of Spinifex Street is really great. It is close to all the shops in Kambalda West as well as the school, public swimming pool, recreation centre, chemist, medical centre (doctors), post office, bank etc. Everything is in short walking distance from the street without the inconveniece of traffic or pedestrians.
Kambalda is a great town to live in with a wonderful community. It is a safe town where everyone feels welcome and at home. The town is community orientated with a great social calander. There is a Christmas tree run by the community each year, there are VacSwim lessons at the public pool as well as interm swimming lesons for primary school children. Kambalda also has it's own swim club at the swimming pool. Sometimes community gatherings are also held at the pool i.e. Australia Day Celebrations. Kambalda offers a good life style with affordable housing allowing some spare cash for the luxuaries in life. It is a gold rich area which keeps it quite stable through most markets. Kambalda is only about 45 minutes away from Kalgoorlie which is the biggest outback town in Australia. In 2008 Kambalda won the Keep Australia Beautiful Tidy Towns competition.
