"Peaceful for us"

A nice rural feeling with a good shopping center and still only thirty minutes away from the big Mandurah Forum. Spud shed is also just up the road for cheap veggies. The town is tidy and provides enough services for our needs.
Like any place there are certian areas that may not be as desirable as others but overall we like living here.

"Lowies galore"

If you wear shoes to the shop, you must be rich. The place has a very low socioeconomic, there is only one half decent spot to live in, but even then the developer / landowner does nothing to keep it nice. Shopping trolleys everywhere, no decent public transport, no good infrastructure, even very little bike paths. Its HORRIBLE

"Growing area, Buy now"

Pinjarra is situated on the South West Highway 86 KMs from Perth and 21 kms south east of Mandurah. Famous or rather infamous for the battle of Pinjarra where many Aboriginals were killed by British Colonists. This is a fast growing town and real estate prices are likely to reflect this very quickly. At present home purchase is still within the reach of the average family with rental also being affordable. There are new subdivision opening up and a large new shopping centre has just been completed with supermarkets, specialty stores fast food outlets etc. There is a train station where the Perth to Bunbury service stops over on its way down the coast. Pinjarra has both state and catholic primary and secondary schools as well as day care centres and play groups. There are good medical facilities here with medical centres and Pinjarra Hospital. There are numerous sporting venues with playing fields for most sports and club and associations to join. Peel Zoo is located nearby and is famous for its birdlife which freely interact with humans. Water sports are also popular here with great beaches.
