"Port Kennedy"

Port Kennedy boasts a fantastic golf course if you are into Golf - you must check it out. There are a few different pockets of Port Kennedy beach side there are some really lovely homes in the upper bracket price wise, there are some good buys to pick up in the area begind the port kennedy tavern but you need to be a bit careful about which streets - not all streets are the same. Make sure you do drive bys at different times if you are thinking of buying in any area. The other non beach side of PK has some beautiful family homes at affirdable prices. mostly 4 x 2's with good size gardens.
The port Kennedy tavern is a great place for a night out. The Pk shops have a great little IGA which is always friendly and well stocked. theres bunnings and every commercial type outlt you could ned from tyres to tiles, pet shops evene jet ski outlet. it has a commercial hub that provides for every need. The beaches are really nice and if you are keen there is even a nudist beach.

Looking for a home in Port Kennedy?

"A perfect family area with lots of options"

Lots of beautiful large blocks. A safe and friendly area. Cherbourg grove is lovely and quiet, close to the schools and beach with fantastic neighbours. We have a street christmas party every year. The kids play in the street and there are two parks within a 3 min walk which is great for walking the dog. There is always lots of people walking around the parks too! Have been here for a year now and very very happy. There are not many options as far as nightlife goes, however, we usually go to secret harbour where there is a nice pub which is only 10 mins away. A variety of food shopping is nearby and also public transport very close making it very easy to commute into the city of to Fremantle which is what I do myself. Lots of options for golf also which my partner loves! Overall a fantastic family area.

Great for

  • Quiet, good price, large block, nice beach
  • Boating, Fishing, and all water activities are on your doorstep
  • Great Friends, Awesome Clients, Brilliant Life
  • People come from all over Asia to play golf in Port Kennedy

"The best kept secret south Of Perth"

Port Kennedy is an awesome place to live, work and play. It features affordable housing in both owner occupied and rental accomadation. Median house price is very attractive compared with Perth overall. Port Kennedy offers plenty of opportunitites for people of all ages and people looking for lifestyle plus. We have houses from small units through to multi million dollar waterfront mansions.

Life is what you make it and in Port Kennedy its easy to make life great. I've been working and living in Port Kennedy for the last 10 years. I have travelled the world, lived in America, been through Asia, explored the middle east and can say that Port Kennedy offers some of the best lifestyle you could hope for.

I like to grab some bait on the way home from work, ring ahead get the kids to organise the fishing gear and head down to the beach. We catch a few whiting and watch the sun go down. How good is life.

Here is a list of things Port Kennedy has to offer:

White Sand Beach
Turquoise Blue Water
Boat Ramp
Great Golf Course
9 Places to Eat
2 Gyms
2 Chemists
2 IGA's Grocery Stores
Doctors Surgery
Veterinary Surgery
Lots of Parks and Walking Paths

Beach Fishing for many species
Kangaroos
Skate Park
Great Schools Public and Private
Day Care

"Bueatiful spot"

Not a bad place to live, it was quiet until I got my new neighbor moved in last year. Some music playing over the weekend, but not very late at night. It's very close to school and beach. Relax place to live and very little stress. Shopping isn't like Melbourne, but now days you can get what you want from the internet for half the price. Most houses here take care of their Garden. Mix of old and young. It's about half hour from Frementle if you fancy a night out.
Not enough option for restaurants, few coffee shops down in Rockingham, not enough coffee shops around safety bay. A lot of golf course around. Also could do with some decent pub and lounge.
Many live here are Retirees. kite surfing is just down the road.

Great for

  • Quiet, good price, large block, nice beach

Not great for

  • Far from shop, need decent classy pub and lounge. Not very trendy. blue collar worker

Rentals in Port Kennedy

"Got to be good - I live here!!!"

Port Kennedy's a great place to live, near by is Warnbro sound beach which has golden sands and crystal clear waters. This beach has won best natural beach several times running. And also award winning golf courses. Parks every where so great for the kid's and dog's. I would describe Port Kennedy and very family orientated. Most houses are set on good size blocks.

I moved to Port Kennedy after living in Safety Bay as I have a small child and feel the area is more suitable for families. We have a good social network in Port Kennedy as the neighbourhood is very friendly. There are several shopping centres which have recently introduced late night and sunday trading.

Our street is a cul-de-sac which is great as the kids can play safetly in the street on their bikes, we do easter egg hunts for the kids on the street and have a street party at Christmas.

After living in Australia for several years I would recommend Port Kennedy to every family with kids. The schools are great, and there is an Aqua Jetty swimming pools very near.

"Very quiet and conveniently located"

Montebourg Meander from the intersection of La Manche Ave to Garonne Turn is very quiet, day and night. The houses were built 14 years ago on large blocks (700sqm). Despite the school being just around the corner, very few children live in the street. Residents are all above 40 years of age, some are retired. A few properties are rented. It is very convenient for shopping, IGA is in walking distance. Not far is Warnbro Fair, the beach, vet, doctors, banks, aquatic centre, pet shop, Bunnings and a lot more. In the afternoon the sea breeze comes in. At the end of the street is a lake.
