"Excellent Suburb and Family Friendly"

Rangeville is a fantastic suburb. It has access to fantastic schools being the Rangeville State Primary School and Centenary Heights High School, has an abundance of parks, access to High Street Plaza and Range Shopping Centre which caters for everything you need, whilst still being 5 minutes from the CBD.

"Rangeville is the best suburb to live in Toowoomba"

Rangeville is a lovely area to live in. Great schools close by, fantastic restaurants, and cafes, terrific shopping centres at the Range in James Street and High Street Shopping Centre. Love living in the area with my family and do not want to move anywhere else. Very family focussed suburb, peaceful yet close to town. I also love the community spirit and focus. A lot of long term residents live in the area and

"Great Country Lifestyle"

Great country lifestyle! Only downside is the recent floods and mini inland tsunami that has hit gatton and toowoomba, god bless all those effected!

Rentals in Rangeville

"It isn't the traffic -- it's the commute"

the mountain often gets jammed but the problem is that it is too far from everything. This is for retirees only.

"Lovely spot, but ..."

my only concern is that it cannot cater to a wide section of the community. This area tends to be for well-established retirees looking for a tree-change.

"a great place to live"

Rangeville is a leafy suburb in east toowoomba. It is close to all amenities. Heaps of parks and very pleasant walks can be taken right throughout the suburb. Most of the homes are tidy and very well maintained. Very close to major tourist attraction Picnic Point and there are great range views from many vantage points. Its quiet but good shopping and schools are on your doorstep.

"Safe & Quiet"

Never had any problems in Rangeville. Great location, quiet and friendly neighbours. Primary school close by with a new shopping centre going in on high street (the old one has been knocked down). With Res B you're able to build a duplex. Takes 5-10mins into Toowoomba CBD. The only downside is the cost of property's, its hard to break into.

"One of Toowoomba's Premier Suburbs"

The broader boundaries of this suburb, Bridge Street to the north, James Street to the south and everything east of Hume and Kitchener Streets have long offered people who live in East Toowoomba a variety of sought after facilities. St. Vincents Hospital, Medici Centre and Day Surgery Centre provide excellent health care. 'The Range' shopping centre has Woolworths as the major tenant and parking is generally hassle free. The choice of schools is considerable - Toowoomba Grammar School, Mater Dei, Toowoomba Preparatory School, Fairholme College and East State School all have strong educational credentials. Toowoomba's famous Queens Park, the Botanical Gardens, SQIT Campus and Cobb and Co. Museum are credible destinations and points of interest. A choice of good coffee shops [always important!] are located strategically throughout the precinct.
Another memorable characteristic is the evergreen Camphor Laurel street trees that line the avenues of some very attractive timber character homes.
This suburb is sought after by those appreciating the amenity this area offers. Land values per square metre [especially where there is an eastern valley outlook] are the highest within Toowoomba. Consequently the median house price is higher.
Although the cost of entering parts of this suburb are comparably higher, the value of well maintained homes continue to appreciate and, generally, sell relatively quickly.
