Reviews of Roberts Street, Yarraville

"12 minutes to the city and surrounded by parks."

Roberts Street is a wide treelined street in Yarraville. It has great access to the city via the West Gate Bridge or you can go down Dynon Rd,which is an extention of Spencer Street. It is minutes to Yarraville village which has great coffee shops and cafes also the Sun Theatre.Roberts St can have minor traffic at peak hour times but otherwise is very quiet. It has Cruikshank Park ( a huge park with a creek running through it,great for walking, dogs and kids ) and a couple of sporting fields as well.(lacrosse, soccer, cricket, hockey, etc) There are three primary schools all within walking distance and many families have moved to the area due to the larger blocks of land and larger doublefront houses which have mostly been renovated.Roberts St is 10 minutes to Williamstown or Altona beach and the same to Highpoint Shopping Centre,it is also a breeze to get to Geelong(40 mins) and the surfcoast as you have direct access to Geelong Rd.A great place to live.

Robert St is a hole - it is the far side of Yarraville and quiet far from the village part. I think the above must have been written by a real estate agent.
