"The perfect spot to buy now"

Rockbank has a lot to offer, especially for those who appreciate a community-oriented lifestyle with a touch of rural beauty. I live in the Accolade Estate and my kids go to the Bacchus Marsh Grammar School in Woodlea. We avoided buying in the more expensive Woodlea area. Even the Rockbank Primary school is a very good one. The ongoing developments make it an exciting place to be, and I'm optimistic about its future. If you're seeking a blend of peaceful living and accessibility to amenities, Rockbank might just be the place for you.

Community Atmosphere: Rockbank has a strong sense of community, and the residents are friendly and welcoming. There's a real sense of neighborliness that adds to the overall living experience.

Green Spaces: The suburb is surrounded by beautiful greenery, offering a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle. Parks and recreational areas are well-maintained, providing great spaces for families and individuals to enjoy outdoor activities.

Growing Infrastructure: Rockbank is undergoing significant development, and it's evident in the improved infrastructure. New amenities, shopping centers, and schools are emerging, contributing to the convenience of daily life.

Transportation Links: The suburb's proximity to major transportation routes, including the Western Freeway, makes commuting to the city or nearby areas relatively straightforward. The Rockbank train station adds an extra layer of convenience for those relying on public transportation.

"Rockbank has potential"

I have been living in this suburb for the last 4 years. Things have improved, although at a very slow pace. However, the Melton Council is working to improve the amenities. Proximity to the train station is a great help for many of us. Community needs to come together to push for more things to happen in the area. The school is decent and the accessibility has improved.

"Cheap houses and rats."

I must say, my dear readers, that my experience in the charming suburb of Rockbank, Victoria has been nothing short of fascinating. Having resided here for a dignified period of two years, I feel compelled to offer a candid and forthright assessment, free from any undue embellishment or verbosity.

Rockbank boasts a proximity to the train station, which is undeniably convenient for those seeking swift access to the city. However, it is with a heavy heart that I must acknowledge the lamentable absence of parking facilities for late risers, leaving one with a sense of consternation if they fail to greet the dawn.

Regrettably, my observations have led me to discern a certain reticence among the local denizens. It appears that social cordiality is a quality somewhat amiss in this particular community. The unfortunate tendency for individuals of a shared heritage to congregate in exclusive circles strikes one as rather unbecoming, and one might even venture to say, "Unaustralian." The diversity that our great nation cherishes so dearly should be celebrated and fostered, rather than partitioned.

In the realm of public transportation, the absence of buses in this otherwise tranquil suburb is a noteworthy peculiarity. One is left to ponder the possibilities of fostering a more connected and vibrant community through improved public transit options.

Alas, my dear readers, Rockbank seems to have missed the mark when it comes to the finer things in life. The dearth of cultural amenities and coffee shops casts a shadow over the prospects of intellectual enrichment and gastronomic indulgence. The landscape is, in large part, dominated by what can only be described as hastily erected dwellings, an unfortunate testament to the absence of architectural finesse.

However, there is a silver lining to be found in Rockbank's dedication to security and safety. For those with a discerning eye for low-crime locales and a more modest budget, the prospect of acquiring a residence here may hold some appeal. The notion of securing a property and subsequently setting forth to craft a life beyond the confines of this suburb is not without merit.

In summary, my dear readers, I would humbly suggest that one might contemplate the decision to make Rockbank their home with a judicious consideration of their priorities and preferences. This is a place where tranquility and affordability intersect, albeit with certain trade-offs in the realms of sociability and cultural enrichment. In essence, one should approach Rockbank with a discerning eye, for it is a locale that may suit the needs of some but may be best avoided by those who seek a more vibrant and interconnected community.

"Great Place to live"

Things have significantly improved in this area. I am happy to be around a place with friendly families, amazing people and decent facilities. I usually shop in Woodlea. There's a new mall coming in Rockbank. I use the Rockbank train station to commute to the city for work. The highway is accessible and the nearby temple is helpful for spiritual wellbeing.

"Amazing suburb with a great growth prospects"

I live in the Accolade estate and have been here for the last2 years. It's very convenient to get on the highway and the Rockbank train station. The nearby estate has an upcoming mall and My kids go to the the Rockbank primary school - which is a good one. Get in now before this place become unaffordable.

"Feral area!!"

I lived in Rockbank area and I would not recommend it at all. Sorry but the people are feral in this area… always vandals vandalising the neighbour. Had the police out here a few times because of vandals… the kids are feral here too!! Not a very family friendly area at all.

"Country living in suburbia"

I love this area so much, the neighbours are lovey, we have our one shop. A real shame that the area is being built up. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

"Small & forgotten"

Garbage disgusting dirty place. Council does not care. Council rates are through the roof. House prices are cheap cause no one cares about there house plus a tone of rentals around. I have to say the place has nothing except for general store. In the end you pay for what u get. Place has many pest that include mice, snakes, milipedes, feral cats. Every couple of years the place floods in the lower areas. Lived there a long time I can't say a good thing about place i had chane to get out and left. Peaple that live in the area are simply feral and do not care for anything.

"Fantasic suburb - with a country town feel"

Rockbank is a wonderful suburb. House are cheap and in my opinion they are under-valued. Has every close by: shops, schools etc. The locals are also so friendly and will do anything to help you out. And the best thing is that I only paid $225,000 for my house. Rockbank rocks!

Hi, what's your opinion on Aintree? I'm thinking of moving there. Also, are there snakes in that area?

Shanawaz - it is a great place to live. I agree the amenities are limited, but that's what an upcoming suburb is like. Things are certainly improving now.
