Reviews of Sandhurst Crescent, Glenhaven

"Leafy family luxury."

Sandhurst Crescent is one of the prime streets in Glenhaven. It’s a steeper road than may of its neighbours and some of the blocks, and a lot of the street offers leafy views over the suburb. The street itself is not as heavily treed as some of those nearby, and the lawns and gardens are neat and sometimes almost formal.

Leading off Sandhurst are several short cul-de-sacs including Golders Green Way, Plympton Way, and Cabinet and Bromley Ways. These side streets are paved with bricks or similar and are very pretty indeed. There is an exclusive air about the properties here – and they are reminiscent of English country villages to a degree.

The houses are big, many are ornate Federation or Tudor style, and the blocks are large. Considering the air of luxury, in comparison to many other Sydney suburbs (close to the city and coastal in particular), the properties you can purchase here offer a lot for the price-tag.

Glenhaven has a couple of preschools, a primary school, a Rudolf Steiner school, and parks and reserves. Most of the playgrounds are not really suitable for small children though – and this is a lacking point in the area.

Nearby the M2 provides a good city through-route and the shops of Castle Towers are five minutes away.
