Seaview Avenue commences off the Nepean Hwy at Dromana and continues all the way to the Martha Cove Marina. Seaview avenue is a mix of permanant and holiday homes making for a relaxed and peaceful environment. This review will concentrate on the Martha Cove end of Seaview Avenue.

Being a beachside road and depending on your position, Seaview Ave offers great water views of the Marina, Mount Martha, Arthurs Seat and Dromana Bay. Your day would start with a walk along the Marina, a walk along the coast line of Dromana Bay or perhaps boating out on the bay. The area is flat so it's a great surface for long walks and most evenings you will see the locals out for a 'passagiatta' to take in the beautiful sunset over the bay.

With nearby Dromana and Mornington just a short drive or bus ride away, shopaholics should be satisfied. A new shopping precinct for the Martha Cove Marina will be built in 2010 offering an array of restaurants, cafe's, a supermarket and shops.

There's plenty to do along this stretch of the Mornington Peninsula. Lovers of the beach, wineries, restaurants, water sports, fishing, recreation and sight seeing will never run out of things to do. Nearby Red Hill has a local market that attracts visitors from around the state. Sorento and Portsea are major tourist destinations and just a short drive from Seaview Avenue. Catch a ferry to Queenscliff for the day or have lunch at the famous Portsea Hotel where you can mix with the rich and famous.

We don't see too much traffic as most of the holiday makers use Marine Drive to move between destinations so traffic is usually residents and sightseers to the Marina.

Seaview Avenue offers peace and quiet, a friendly neighborhood, one of the best beaches on the peninsula, a beautiful marina, shops and some of the pleasant scenery. This is a great place to live and relax.
