"A Living Hell"

If being verbally abused when you walk down the street is your idea of fun come join me in Silver Sands. If you like shiny things boy are you in luck. Most mornings I am greeted by the gentle glistening of used needles reflecting the delightful sun rays. If casual dressing is your thing, Great News - shoes and shirts are an optional extra here. Druggies, drunks, no-hopers, 50 year olds on skateboards, Silver Sands has it all. Feel like a success with a minimum wage PT job.Free music at all hours

"Feels safe and sound"

I drive about and get waves from my neighbbours and see the children playing happily in the quiet streets. Close to lovely dog friendly beaches. We have one pub in silversands it has pool tables and normal food at reasonable prices. The shopping complex is a bit dodgy as in a few characters hanging out most the time just passing time drunk. Very close to mandurah town centre. Houses are mostly a bit older but large. Nice and close to John Tonkin College and not far from IGA COLES ALDI and even WOOLWORTHS
Theres probably more older people here fixing up their gardens. Always surfers at the local beach

"Best Beaches, feels very safe, older suburb alot of renovations and new builds going on."

Definitely has the best beaches, feels very safe for everyone, older suburb with many new builds and renos.
Has a much more upmarket feel than most other suburbs.Approx 5 mins to train station and shopping centre 50mins to central Perth by train. Walking distance to the Marina and foreshore. The blocks are big and many have their own bore.
