"Affordable Housing, Tranquil Neighbourhood, Friendly Neighbours"

I purchased my first house here in 2022. Right after moving in, I received welcome gifts and cards from neighbours. When there are house parties or events, I also send letters to nearby neighbours seeking their understanding. With many long-time residents on this street, there's a great sense of greeting and excellent manners among neighbours. I hope this positive vibe continues, and I also want to contribute to it.
During the two years of living in this neighbourhood, personally, I've felt the kindness and warmth of local people! It's ideal for those who love the beach, as it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Kananook Station and around 30 minutes to walk to the beach. Although it's within 5 minutes of M11 and M3, there's no noise from busy traffic. If you wake up early in the morning, you can smell the fresh air, almost like being at a campsite. Enjoying these benefits in this price range is truly fortunate!

"Lovely Quiet & Ideally Located"

We bought in here in 1999 and find it to be a lovely quiet street to live in. We could not ask for better neighbours and I personally feel very safe & secure living here. We find it an ideal position for local shops and also somewhere to take our dogs for a good run over at the high school oval. Apart from the odd untidy unkept home, most are quite well maintained.
We have no plans to move from this great location.

"great place to live for an ex city person"

i moved to Frankston North in sept 2007 since we wanted to buy a house but couldnt afford nor wanted to over pay for one. So we decided that as a first step, buying a house would be really cheap in Frankston North. The little pocket where i live doesnt have commission houses, its mostly privately owned. theres a high school right opposite and not even then we had any sort of problems with it. We ge ton really well with our neighbours whom has teenagers. The street is a VERY quiete street and have NEVEr encountered any sort of problems with living there. Yes, you encounter the usual bogan, scummy people drinking in the street but they are harmless. Although i wish they could just kick them out of Frankston North and try making the suburb a real suburb.
the streets are very leafy and clean, theres a cheap public swimming pool where kids go in summer and theres also a few local shops around the corner for the usual forgotten milk or bread. Theres a post office and a pharmacy too together with a really nice bakery. All in all, its a really nice quiet place to live in.

It seems like there are a few ex city people down here. We moved in Oct 2008 and like you, didn't want to over commit financially. Totally agree with all you say. Apart from the odd trouble maker here and there (but what suburb doesn't have them, really?) it has been a nice, quiet and friendly place to be.

Couldn't agree with you more - we too bought in here in 1999 and find it to be a lovely quiet street to live in. We could not ask for better neighbours and I personally feel very safe & secure living here. We find it an ideal position for local shops and also somewhere to take our dogs for a good run over at the high school oval. Apart from the odd untidy unkept home, most are quite well maintained. I'm still feeling the same in 2024. :)
