"excellent for singles, parking a breeze...sshh!"
a one-way street just down from acland street and Luna Park...it has excellent transport coming via Elsternwick right through to the city/or the bundoora universities. Just buy a small bedsit there, you'll never look back and they so easily rent out. nightlife closes down early but the area is close to prahran where there is all night activities! St kilda has a weekend market and Smith street seems to be near everything, including their own botanical gardens, without being on main streets. Acland street has the best filafel balls ever and a great gourmet fish and chip shop...never mind the cakes! Some drug addicts leave their needles in the surrounding streets, but many flat blocks have installed blue lights in their parking areas. Vibrant, busy, exciting, easy living for the young or young at heart!
