"FAMILY FRIENDLY SUBURB AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING"

South Penrith is a family friendly suburb that has great access to quality schools, medical facilities, parks, shops and more. Located within a few minutes of the heart of Penrith, approximately an hour into Sydney and a short drive to the Blue Mountains, its easy to see why many people who call South Penrith home stay there for decades.

"A wonderful suburb to live in, it has a lot to offer"

Born and bred in South Penrith, it really is one of the best local suburbs surrounding Penrith. The ease of getting into the Penrith CBD and M4 motorway make South Penrith an ideal locality. Excellent choice of schools, shops, parks and entertainment options too

"Strong community feel"

Grew up in South Penrith and what a great suburb. There is a strong community feel. A lot of locals who are proud of their homes and renovate them. Lots of local sports for kids to play and pretty quiet and peaceful. A lot of nice homes, especially on the newer side of South Penrith. Roughly 30-45mins walking distance to the Penrith CBD. Also some nice little cafes coming up too. A great place to raise a family.

"Nice, safe, convenient but old suburb!"

South Penrith has many parks, paths and play grounds. It has good bus services and shops just round the corner. It is quiet and safe, while just being a couple minutes from Penrith CBD. With Nepean Hospital close as well as many doctors and medical centres as well as 3 schools and a close church it is in the best location in all of the Penrith area.

"Neat suburb"

I've grown up around the Blue Mountains and Penrith area, and moved back to area from North Sydney. Recently moved to a house in South Penrith. Aside from the minimal noise from the Northern Road and "rushing" car enthusiasts, I am really enjoying the suburb. It feels safe enough to walk the dogs at night, going by the care taken to maintain gardens our neighbours are house proud - usually a good sign on the rating of a town; which also means it's pretty. The closer you get to Penrith Station, the more it feels less safe to walk around at night. It doesn't have the same community I'm used to with North Sydney or the Blue Mountains, but so far so good.

Have lived in Pindari Drive for over 20 years and love the place. The people, area, community are all fantastic. There are good schools both private and public, parks and a newly renovated shopping complex. Great place to live.
