Spencer Road, Camberwell, VIC 3124

Our Street is a little more modest than some of our rivals but it offers everything we need. We have a beautiful park opposite, tennis courts and great schools all nearby. Our older kids are totally independant as the public transport is fantastic. We do have the train line behind us but as its a branch line we have a slight noise as the trains come and leave the station. We quite like the sound. We have the best neighbours that we have ever had and often go out as a group socially. The only thing we would like to improve is the traffic speed of some cars that use our road as a shortcut. We are in the process of conracting the council to have a traffic survey implemented.Hopefully we can resolve that problem and then life will be perfect!!

Spencer Road is an awesome street - there's a cafe down one end (right near Riversdale Road), the big park and tennis courts, two train stations within a 5 minute walk, trams at the end of the street, milkbar in the middle of the street, nice neighbours, nice houses - it's a perfect street!!

The train line runs behind the street - I live on the other side of the street though - you do hear trains passing by, but it's never been an issue for me or anyone I live with. Perhaps, if you lived on the other side of the street, it may be too loud, but I'm not sure.

Also, people do use the street as a bit of a through road, so there can be a little traffic sometimes. That's being pretty critical though - it's really not an issue.

I couldn't recommend this street highly enough - it really is a great place to live.
