Reviews of St Albans Park, VIC

"Pleasant, friendly and safe place to live that is close to CBD."

Breakwater is a small suburb of Geelong approximately 5 kms from the city centre and public transport is serviced by a reliable bus route. A very quiet location, even on weekends and the locals feel safe and secure. Schooling is very good with Primary, Secondary and TAFE schools and the area has a family feel about it and the people are very friendly. Some love the easy and quick access to the Surf Coast especially Torquay only 23 minutes away. Breakwater has the Geelong Racing Club (horse) and Geelong Showgrounds within its boundaries.

There are very few houses put up for sale in this area and this indicates the locals are very happy living there.

"family suburb"

St albans park is a great little suburb close to everything, we love that it is 10 minutes at the most to anything we want to go to. There is good basic shopping at the 3 centres that are close by and a good pool and gym at splashdown. The kinder is a nice new modern building with good facilities and programs. There are plenty of primary schools in the area to choose from so you can take your pick! Local traffic is busy at certain times of the day but we do live on a main street but even that isn't too bad. Plenty of well equipped parks for the kids are in walking distance, overall this is a great family suburb.
