Reviews of St Georges Rd, Toorak

"The WOW Factor!"

Toorak is well known for the outstanding lifestyle it provides to families, couples, singles and retirees. The Toorak leafy surrounds provided much character with a combination of art deco properties, modern buildings, Edwardian cottages and multimillion dollar Victorian mansions.

The bustling Toorak Road shopping strip is always alive with residents enjoying the many cafes and restaurants, high quality fashion stores, highly regarded hairdressers, unique book and homeware stores, beauty parlors and much more.

The shopping options are endless with a simple tram ride up Toorak Road to the very popular Chapel Street.

I would rate Toorak in the top 5 places to live in Melbourne of all people looking for an affluent exciting lifestyle.

St Georges Road is the golden strip of Toorak with phenomenal mansions bursting with character and charm, together with the soft serenity of the perfectly tree lined street.

I agree I think st georges road toorak would be a highly desirable place to live and definitely a top 5 street I would say the only downside to this grand beautiful street is that it leads out onto a freeway meaning that there are constantly cars driving up and down the road to exit or enter the freeway so a lot of noise and congestion especially at peak times throughout the day.

I would have to agree with you in regards to St Georges Road being the premier residential street within Toorak and would certainly rank in the top 5-10 throughout Melbourne.

Could you please give me an estimate as to how much the estates, townhouses and apartments would cost for a first time home buyer. Would buyers require a mortgage?

A hypothetical question- should someone be worth around 50-100 million would that be enough to purchase a mansion on St Georges road? I have a so-called 12.5% rule where 12.5% should be placed onto your home or apartment and75% locked away for investments.

I wholeheartly welcome your opinion.
