"St. Peters is one of Adelaide’s most tightly held and prestigious suburbs."

Surrounded by sophisticated character homes and leafy trees, St. Peters is conveniently located in close proximity to Adelaide CBD, Linear Park and some of our state's most elite schools, such as St. Peter’s College.

With Adelaide CBD, Norwood, Walkerville and North Adelaide only a short (5-10min) drive away, there are plenty of food, shopping and entertainment options at your fingertips.

A notable eatery is the famous St. Peters Bakery & Coffe Shop - a great spot for coffee and lunch!

Street parking is also abundant in St. Peters - providing lots of opportunities for family and friends to visit.

St. Peters is a safe, family-friendly suburb.

"Leafty, close to the city and to Linear Park"

Very close to the city and close to Linear Park this is a great spot. It is beautiful to walk or ride around in St Peters but it is expensive so beyond most people. Even the units and apartments here are expensive.

I like St Peters and it would be on the wish list to buy. It’s very easy to get into the city by car or bus and there is a good selection of houses. You can get units, old houses and newer houses in here and they all seem to blend well.

There is a child care centre/kindergarten in close by and the shops and other services are great including some medical services.

Being close to the city its a good spot for people that want to get out for a good night out or dine in the city, but its too expensive for most people that want to party. This makes it a quiet idyllic area.

For shopping, across to Stepney, the city, Norwood, up to Marden, across to Prospect, the choices are endless and all within 5 minutes.

Pretty Handy for Everything St Peters. You can even connect via a 174 Bus to Paradise to get a Track BUS TO Tea Tree Plaza for shopping if going into the Eastern Suburbs or the City is not your thing.

St. Peters is suitable for all of the above! A safe suburb, that is very family-friendly, close to the CBD with so much on your doorstep.

Rentals in St Peters

"Picturesque and prestigious, with a price tag to match!"

This is one of Adelaide's most picturesque and exclusive suburbs, centred around the majestic grounds of prestigious St Peter's College (one of Adelaide's leading private schools for boys).

St Peters is a quiet and beautiful suburb that is just minutes from Adelaide's CBD. With wide streets lined with plane trees, many of the homes are grand old bungalows that have been well-maintained or recently renovated with large gardens and plentiful onstreet parking.

St Peters itself has only a few small corner stores. You are best to head to the Avenues on Stephens Terrace in neighbouring Magill for your weekly shopping. Close to North Adelaide and Norwood, there are a number of restaurants and cafés all within a 10 minute drive away.

There is a bus line that runs through the heart of St Peters, but beware that buses are not that frequent. The heart of the CBD is just a 10 minute drive away, or can be walked in about 45 minutes if you have the energy and time.

Great Area but I would suggest looking elsewhere if you have sons for their Education.I don't know how much has changed since the 80's and 90's but the class sizes are ridiculous at St Peters College and you have to be academically bright to survive there.
