Reviews of Stott Way, Duncraig

"Duncraig the up & coming cool spot for young trendy famlies"

We moved to Duncraig from the city and we haven't looked back. Why would we - its a 20 min walk to the beach, 12 minute drive to the city (non peak ) 20 min (peak) there are plenty of shops, cool cafes, parks, and great schools. We are a young family who always lived in the city but couldn't afford to buy in Leederville or Mount Hawthorn and wanted a yard not a courtyard. Duncraig is being flooded with young families and couples from the city areas as its affordable you get so much more for your money and it has a high rental return. Its a matter of time before the suburb has wine bars and familly friendly trendy cafes & restaurants. The houses are 70's - 80's cool, spacious and have so much character and potential. Get in while you can.

Great for

  • Older houses with character
  • Dotted with cute little shopping centres that have ample parking
  • Close to the beach, the freeway and major shopping centres
  • Lots of parks and nature reserves
  • Friendly community
  • Close to the city being only 15 km away
  • Cool houses and large blocks
