Reviews of Tambua Street, Pyrmont

"Fantastic place to live"

Tambua Street is a fantastic place to live.
There is a park at each end of the street: the park at the intersection with Bowman Street is on the waterfront with lovely water views and the barbecues and seating are great for enjoying your purchases from the nearby Sydney Fishmarkets. The street is quiet with no through-traffic.
There is a great friendly vibe and the area is clean and safe: we know our neighbours, the residents have CCTV monitoring, a 24 hour security patrol and the strata cleaners keep the street clean and tidy. The strata by-laws do not allow short term letting and the property and rent prices tend to attract professionals and retirees and not students or young singles.
There is a great range of local cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk from the street and it is very close to the city. Light rail, ferry and bus services are all close by too.
