Reviews of The Bastion, Umina Beach

"Hill Top Paradise"

Bordered by Brisbane Water National Park, The Bastion offers the young family or retirees, an idyllic setting that takes in breathtaking views from Gosford to Broken Bay. Nature abounds, with possums, lizards, large variety of birdlife, with the occasional echidna visiting. Being a cul de sac gives opportunity to meet and mix easily with like minded neighbours, who enjoy a friendly and cohesive atmosphere. Close to two large shopping centres of Umina Beach and Woy Woy, with the seaside village atmosphere of Ettalong not far away. You can take a 30min ferry ride to Palm Beach for the day. 10 mins to Woy Woy Railway Station for ease of access for commuters and day trippers to Sydney or Newacastle. There are five Primary Schools and two High Schools serving the area. House prices have returned above average gains over the past 20 years.
