"Stunning views, wonderful community"

The Patch is a hidden gem. It is simply a beautiful place to live and has a wonderful community. As it is just on the edge of Sherbrooke Forest, it gives you the best of everything - Stunning open valleys, local bushwalks, beautiful views and it is simply the most amazing place to visit in autumn when the colours are in full display! There is a local bus service that goes through the town that can take you to Belgrave train station or into Monbulk and The Patch Primary school has an excellent reputation. Lovely large blocks, small to medium acreage properties and homes with loads of character!

"The Best of Both Worlds"

We are a family of 5 who have lived inThe Patch for 15 years. Our three teenagers have access to local jobs, which is important to them (and us travelling as a taxi pick up service!!). The choice of close private and public schools has been great. We have never had a reason to feel unsafe here. We have the beauty, peaceful serenity and luxury of enjoying nature's beauty and so many different bird species dropping in to say hello each day! Yet, we are conveniently 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic, to 3 major shopping complexes: Knox City, Fountaingate, Chirnside Park and a little further Eastlands. Did I mention Tasman's wholesale meat in Berwick, 20 minutes away(save a packet there)? We have a bus service that will take you to Belgrave train station, 8 minutes away by car. 2 minutes to the indoor swimming centre and Gym also. Surrounded by quaint restaurants in the local area to entertain your guests for a treat. Well I recommend this patch of paradise if you want the best of both worlds. A scenic hideaway close enough to grab your supplies and retreat back from the busy burbs.

"Peaceful and beautiful."

Great school, great neighbourhood, safe and beautiful in every season. Colour in Autumn, Flowers in Spring, Cool in Summer and protected in Winter. Monbulk, Kallista and Emerald have everything you need for shopping, fitness and eating out, only a few minutes in any direction.

"A Patch of happiness, a Patch of tranquility"

The Patch presents itself a huge complete mystery garden. one flower goes out of season and another one starts to Bloom. It is a artful asany other place in Melbourne during the Autumn months. Close to Kallister. Emerald. Belgrave and Monbulk and of course the Dandenong ranges. While The Patch does not have any eating places, the occupants are only a stones throw away from the newly managed Cooks Corner, which is a delightful place for just a cuppa of some brekky, lunch and dinner.... It'sworth the visit and with in walking distance to many of the quaint homes in the area. It has an alternative feel about it and has some very interesting people that live there.
A great place for young families. older people wanting a quiet live and in general couples........... Its always green and protected from the winds that blow through other suburbs. Beautiful english and American trees abound............
