"Central Coast (not Sydney) Waterfront lifestyle on a Budget."

After living in two rental properties in Tuggerawong and falling in love with the area i decided to buy here 6 Years ago. I live 100 metres from the lake where the foreshore area offers peace, refreshing walks, plenty of room to kick a ball, some special picnic spots and the occasional canoe expedition. Locals gather at a high vantage point to watch fireworks from The Entrance, way across the other side of Tuggerah Lake. We have a small shopping centre which has the best chinese takeaway and the petrol station has recently reopened but some shops remain vacant. We locals are not inconvenienced, as a 10 minute walk up to Wyongah, we have a great General store/Newsagent/TAB/Post Office and a Bottle shop owned by long term locals - the friendly kind that know your name. People move to this area so their children may attend Tuggerawong Primary School which has an excellent reputation. My home backs onto open land and is an oasis of native garden and palms. Even with traffic and school children, its generally peaceful here and usually very quiet at night. Some locals might say there's the occasional noisy teenage party. I say "relax" as my sons have moved out of home now. Local High School, hospital and Lakehaven shopping centre are 5 minutes drive away and Westfeld with its cinemas, 15 minutes. We have beautiful beaches, State Recreation and National Park areas only 20 minutes away. An ideal area for families offering a happy and healthy lifestyle. My children loved growing up here. I hope yours do too !!!
