Acreage

The beauty of Cambridge is its fantastic access to the best highway into Hobart city centre. I can live on acreage but am still only 10 minutes from the CBD of Hobart. Its quicker to get to Hobart from Cambridge than Glenorchy to Hobart but without the crime, graffiti and boganism that being close to the city brings.
We are also blessed with sweeping water views, privacy, ready access to the rapidly developing Cambridge commercial area and the airport is only two minutes away. When we were looking for a new property we inspected places like Sandy Bay and Battery Point and quickly realised that there is a lack of community and a level of snobbery that quickly sent us packing.
I would highlly recommend Cambridge as it offer all the lifestyle benefits of Acton without the painful traffic issues.

Battery point is arguably Hobart's most prestigious suburb and is desirable for its close proximity to the waterfront precinct. Unfortunately, as it is an expensive and historic area, it has become a location of choice for opinionated whingers.
