Alderleyfan

Alderley is a fantastic place to live. We moved into the suburb about a year ago and have been so impressed with the neighbourly spirit. We have regular family gatherings in the park and recently enjoyed a Christmas drinks & nibbles at one of our neigbours houses, a few doors up. Our street is quiet and safe, and the birdlife is wonderful. We live opposite Alderley Grove Park so are fortunate enough to see Kookaburras & Lorikeets on most days. Shopping is very convenient, with Stafford City, Brookside and the soon to be Alderley Square all within easy driving distance. My husband works in the city so he either catches the train (8 min walk from our house) or if I drive him in (approx 15 min at peak hour). I'd highly recommend this suburb for families with kids as there are lots of parks and open space, and there are a good selection of reputable schools in the area.
