Oriole Avenue

"Sails Resort"

Sails Resort is a small family friendly group of Units nestled around a large heated pool / spa which operates all year round. The pool-side bbq is large enough to feed 2 families, and the seating is spacious and compfy. The resort is only 1 short block away from the pristine beach which offers surf, sand, soothing breezes, relaxing walks, and good fishing for young and old. The position of the Reort is perfect between the main access road of David Low Drive, but facing away from the moderate traffic onto the quiet side street which is Oriole Ave.

Peregian itself has 4 excellent restaurants, along with 2 bars - neither of which attract large boistrous crowds. The Baked Poetry Cafe attracts customers from across the Sunshine Coast to share continental style beread baked fresh daily, with German breakfasts that last you through to dinner time.

The beach is patrolled, and the large skate-park shares it's surroundings each month with a local market. The nearby Surf Club provides affordable meals, and cool deck to enjoy a drink with friends and family.

A short 20 mins away by car gets you to all the local tourist spots of Noosa; Yandina for the Spirit House Restaurant, Ginger Factory, and Glass Studios; Coolum for music at the Surf Club; and Eumundi for the famous markets. Head to Tewantin for the riverside eating, go-carts for adults and kids, and the exceptionally good Noosa Regional Gallery - or hire a pontoon or run-about and explore the lakes and up-river wetlands. Tours to Rainbow Beach [world famous coloured sands] are a must.
