Dixon Street

"dixon delight"

Dixon street has some older apartments on it which house some very people. On this street there is also some of the Cutters Landing houses which are magnificent. The park is at the end of the street. Probably one of the best parks in brisbane. Grocery and convenience shops are walking distance. Medical and schools are also walking distance. Very cool place to live.

Lamington Street

"Love this place"

Lamington street has everything. Shops, cafes parks theatre, you name it. The river is right there as well. Who wouldn't want to live this close to everything in quality new homes. No renovators or shabby housing here. Everyone is friendly and there is that community spirit which is weird for an inner city. Everyone should be jealous. Te only thing that is missing here is a view to anything.

Compared to the rest of Brisvegas what are the housing prices like there?

AndyDrazek

Housing prices start about $1.5mill. This is inner city and quite good value for new homes.

I reckon thats pretty right too - up on Teneriffe Hill you'd be lucky to get something that cheap

Yikes... sounds a little exxy for your regular folk. What do you reckon the ratio of renters to owner-occupiers might be?

I just posted a topic in the CityBoard for New Farm to discuss the prices...
