Wood St

"LouLou@TheWood"

I have been living in Inglewood for the past 4 years and I love it here. I have previously lived in Karrinyup and Greenwood but since I started working in the city a couple of years ago I wanted to move closer to work.. I catch a bus to work and it only takes about 15minutes. Inglewood is very close to the city but it still feels like a quiet character suburb with all the upside of amenities that one needs. I live on Wood St which is just up the road from a light commercial precinct which has a Coles Supermarket, Pharmacy, Liquor Store, Medical Clinic, Video Store and many small eateries. Also there are many other shops and services along the Beaufort Street strip.
There are some nice parks in walking distance located at Dundas Road and Salisbury Street plus you have the choice to go a little further to Inglewood Aquatic and Rec Centre.
For those who may be planning to start a family here, myself included, there are two schools within walking distance of Wood Street. St Peters Catholic Primary is actually on Wood Street and Inglewood Primary is very close on Robinson Ave. Also Chisholm College is not far away either. All in all I am very happy here in Inglewood.
