Dunlop

"Youthful Appeal"

Dunlop is located around 14 kms north west of Canberra. It has been designed around a number of smaller estates of between 50 to 100 houses. These are The Meadows, Ginninderra Ridge, Ginninderra Ponds, Dunlop Hills and Jarramlee Park. It has quite a young population with over a quarter being under the age of fifteen. There are a wide array of playgrounds catering for all ages. There are also several parks with walking tracks and bike paths. There are a number of shopping centres within a 10 minute drive and numerous schools nearby. Although they have neither a local school or shopping centre neither are too far away. It is a great place to raise a family.

with large block sizes, quiet peaceful living and proximity to both the Belconnen city & Canberra CBD areas, Scullin is a lovely choice of place to live or rent for any age group. Public transport abounds as does all other amenities so I do not understand the cons listed above.. possibly outdated. It is close enough to city living to be convenient & practical and far enough from it to be peaceful. It is the place to be. Tightly held suburb .. very soon to see escalation in real estate prices.
