Orchard Grove

"Perfect place for everyone"

Orchard Grove is a no-through road running off Canterbury Road. It is within walking distance of bus runs on Canterbury, Fulton, Middleborough and Blackburn Road,,where buses run to Blackburn, Box Hill, Syndal and Mt Waverly Train Stations. It is also only about a 40min walk to the Vermont South Tram on Burwood Highway. It has a Catholic Church , Uniting Church, a Catholic and State Primary School in it. At the end of the street are ovals attached to the school, where in Summer cricket is played and in winter Soccer. There is also the wonderufl parklands, that extend to Middleborough Roads, a fantastic place to walk the dog or go for a jog..observe many birds, sit under a tree and relax on a sunny afternoon, or watch the kids play. At the other end of the street is a small group of shops which include Safeway, Newsagent, some great restaurants, butcher, gift shops, pharmacy, green grocer, baker, laundrette, Bendigo Bank, McDonalds, bottle shop, and some popular opp shops. Many of the home owners are second blackburn south generation homeowners, who have grown up in the area, and are now raising their families, it is a street with a great community feel.
