Wandoo Court

"Beautiful and quiet"

Wandoo Court is a lovely, leafy quiet street with most or the houses being owner occupied. The residents generally keep to themselves, though are always there to lend a hand if necessary. If we see each other in the street we always give a wave or stop for a chat. Because it is a cul-de-sac, any children can play safely in the street.
Public transport has been an issue for the residents of Karana Downs as the nearest buses are at Bellbowrie and Tivoli and nearest trains in Ipswich. However, BCC has been trialling a Public Transport maxi cab service to connect with the buses at Bellbowrie and this is proving to be a very popular service. It is being used by commuters who work in the city, uni students and youth wishing to go to Indooroopilly Shopping Town.
Wandoo Court is on the Brisbane river which lends itself to a great lifestyle, be it walking, fishing or boating. The size of most blocks means separation from neighbours and great privacy,as well as aesthetic appeal. The real estate agents in the area call it "Want to Court" because prospective clients always want to live in it. However, houses in this street rarely come up for sale as the residents quite simply wouldn't want to live anywhere else!!
