Dulguigan Road

"Great location - close to all the facilities of the big smoke, but in a rural setting"

Ive spent a lot of time in the area, looking at property for a client.
Great location being so close to the facilities of Murwillumbah, Tweed Heads and Gold Coast but still in a country setting. Picturesque views of Mt Warning.

Murwillumbah has all the facilities you would require - Bank, post office, doctors and hospital in a small town setting.

Dulguigan Road is a great location with frontage to the river - ideal if you're a boatie or fisherman.

Many cane farms in the area.

Close to the beaches of Kingscliff, Fingal and Tweed - about 20mins. Short ride by boat to Tumbulgum Pub for a great Sunday lunch.

May experience some noise from the quarry that operates on Dulguigan Road but only very occassionally. They like to look after the locals too, so if you let them know you live nearby they may give you landfill at a reduced price.

Rumour has it that there is a 'tiger' that resides in the area - left over from the 1930's and 40's when the areas of Tweed and Coolangatta were frequented by sailors who had it as a pet and subsequently escaped. Have heard this from a number of different, unreleated sources, most recently in December 2010.

Nice bonus being so close to the Gold Coast Airport now with flights to the Asia Pacific regions
