"Very happy here"
I bought in Bracken Ridge 2 and a half years ago and am very happy living here. House prices are affordable with good facilities in the area and only 5 minutes to the bay, 10 minutes to Redcliffe, 15-20 minutes to the airport. The express bus service to Chermside and the city is excellent. My neighbors are very friendly and, being a quiet street, we often have children playing in the street in the afternoon. I do not live near the pub so cannot comment on what that is like at night. My part of the suburb is very quiet and peaceful.

We are also moving from Darwin and looking at this area and hopefully buy very soon. Whats the rental market like here as we would rent out an not move up till 1 or 2 years time? Thanks
Hi Nikkie, it can be up to 60 minutes depending on how busy the traffic is. A good run is more like 35 minutes
Hi Angie, I don't know the rental market sorry as I bought in the area and had rented elsewhere previously. A real estate agent could give you info on that. A quick scan of real estate.com.au shows rentals of anywhere from $330 pw up to $450 pw
