Torro Walk

"A walk to the park down Torro Walk"

Torro Walk is only a short strip of residential houses similar to a court, but the spirit of the residents that live here is both friendly and neighbourly. The walk, as its name suggests, is within walking distance of recreational parks (including several with play equipment for the children). The closest primary school, although conveniently located, is one of the largest primary schools in the north western corridor, but there are quite a few others not too far away.

For those with retail inclinations, you will not be disappointed. Within a short drive or a longer walk is the Watergardens Shopping Centre. This centre has over 240 retail shops including, BigW, Target, Harvey Norman, Rebel Sports, Hoyts Cinemas, House, two Safeway supermarkets, a Coles supermarket and a Bunnings Warehouse.

The street is quiet and does not attract a great deal of traffic, mostly thanks to the "No through road" sign the council provided.

For those that enjoy pay television, OptusNet and Foxtel Cable is not available to this area, due to below ground cabling restrictions. However, Foxtel Satellitte is available and provides good coverage. The telephone exchange provides on the most part ADSL broadband, however Telstra in some cases can also provide ADSL 2+ broadband access.

On the whole, Torro Walk is a great place to live and raise a family.
